Re: [Evolution] Edit an existing email?
Hello, the way around is to copy the email you want to annotate (it could be your or someone else's email) to your draft folder. After copying it there, open the email you just copied. You should then be set to Edit as new... as the feature from Thunderbird. -e On Wed, 2015-03-11 at 15:26 +, Joakim Tjernlund wrote: Sometimes I want to add comments to an existing email but I cannot find how to, if possible. Re: [Evolution] Empty cache file errors
Thank you Milan for the details. Hi, apparently no. While there are many issues where local cache purge helps to fix them, this particular bug is not in that group, thus you do not need to do anything with the local cache. And also, what are the drawbacks of these errors (apart from the annoying messages, that I can try to get used to ;-))? May I simply ignore them? If you set the IMAPx account to use only one concurrent connection, then you'll be safer. Once you see that error message you can re- select the affected message, which will re-download it. The problem is that the message will not be passed through your filters (use Ctrl+Y to apply filters manually) or similar things. What exactly will (not) happen depends on the place where the bug strikes. See all the variants of the error message you sent here. Just normal TCP/IP with STARTTLS (which might be the problem) Could you add this line just in front of the 'if (G_IS_SOCKET_CONNECTION(...))', like line 1222, and write here what will be printed on the console, please? (It'll be printed multiple times, one line is sufficient.) g_print (%s: %p (%s)\n, __FUNCTION__, connection, G_OBJECT_TYPE_NAME (connection)); imapx_server_set_connection_timeout: 0x4f1e930 (GTlsClientConnectionGnutls) Thank you Florian PS: I sent this mail from another address yesterday, but it didn't seem to get through. Re: [Evolution] Configuring Evolution to work with Axigen Server for Calendar
I am trying to get my calendar to work with Evolution. I am using version 3.12.10. I get a timeout error when setting the configuration to web based. I have attempted to use CalDav with no avail. Typically we use iCal, am I missing a package that gives me that option? I have never used Axigen, but I work on a WebDAV/CalDAV server, so I know about the topic in general. First thing I would do is (a) consult the documentation of the server for configuration information I was looking at it last night to see if there was anything I could point the OP to. The bottom line is that Axigen does not support CalDAV - they explicitly state that in various articles eg https://www.axigen.com/forum/showthread.php?p=30716 P. ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

[Evolution] [off-topic] can't send mails -name:1.13-

Hi Fergus, next time please trim the quotes, at least remove duplicates of the list's footer. Reply below the quotes. This makes it easier to follow a thread and it's common practise on nearly every mailing list. Btw. there's nothing wrong to send a request to this list, when using a version that isn't supported by upstream, since this list is also a list for users of Evolution, using different distro's default versions and another user might be able to help. Since nobody couldn't help you with this issue, Andre's hint to report it to Ubuntu is the only thing you can do now. A while back, when I used *buntus too, I often had most serious issues using Evolution. In my experiences there are no Ubuntu developers and packagers interested in supporting a working Evolution. When using Evolution I experience less issues using other distros.
