Re: [Evolution] Messages sent from web links not saved in 'sent' folder

Hi, that's fine. There was a bug report, I think also mentioning the Sent folder, about filters being preserved from another folder when moving to it, but without any visual indication that the filters are in the effect. I do not have the link handy, neither recall whether it was fixed or not, but, from what you see, it seems to me that it was not fixed completely. Or you face something completely different. I'm only guessing here. [Evolution] Error while Storing folder 'Inbox'
Hi Everyone, I'm connected to my account on MS exchange server 2010 evolution 3.12.4 (using ews) on OpenBSD 5.6. When I try to refresh my Inbox I'm getting the following error message: Error while Storing folder 'Inbox'. Id must be non-empty. Can't seem to find any info on that message. Any clues to what that means? -jamil -- - Jamil Egdemir uncleja...@gmail.com http://www.power-quant.com (631) 338-3170 (cell) - ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

[Evolution] Smart Reader for Secure MIME
Evo 3.16.2.1 EWS Fedora 22 I having an issue with evolution not detecting the smart card in my smart reader. I have installed the necessary supporting files, like I did for RHEL7, in which case evo 3.8 detected the smart card and worked like a champ. Since then I upgraded to Fedora 22. Are there any special supporting files that must be installed to allow evo to successfully detect it? NOTE: Firefox 38.0.1 is successfully detecting the security device. What is the calendar type (On This Computer, On The Web, ...) and is it missing completely or only some events in it? Also, I do not use any Ubuntu, neither its clones, thus the version you gave doesn't tell me anything about Evolution versions you had and have. Hi, okay, to avoid the confusion, and to be sure I follow your setup correctly: a) you run a local Courier server, which stores your mails at ~/Maildir b) you access this local server via an IMAPx account in Evolution c) you've setup to store Sent messages to the Sent folder of this IMAPx account d) when you enter the IMAPx/Sent folder in Evolution it doesn't show certain messages, while they are seen on the disk e) you certainly _do not_ have a Maildir account configured in Evolution, which accesses the Courier's on-disk directory structure Did I summarize it correctly, please? In case I did, the IMAPx account shows what the server reported. There can be situations which can hide certain messages, like those deleted or Junk, or if the folder has set any filters (the top Show and Search part right above the message list). To view deleted messages just use View-Show Deleted messages option, though I believe it's not the case here. You cannot view Junk messages like those deleted, for that visit the Junk folder, though I do not think it's the case here either. That lefts me with the folder filtering. Could you verify you do not have some leftover search enabled in the Sent folder, which may eventually hide the messages from the view, please? Alternatively, enter the folder, then right-click it in the folder list and choose Refresh option there. That will update the folder content. Bye, Milan P.S.: I also use an IMAPx-configured Sent folder in my account, even not Courier, and it shows me all my sent messages as written by the evolution. Setup is correct Milan. I checked for any searches I had and none were present however, I clicked on the 'Show' and in the drop-down clicked last 5 days and they then appeared in Evo. It should be noted that the message count shown by Evo and on the drive have been correct all this time. Not sure what difference it made selecting last 5 days messages vice all messages. I'll see what happens when I send this. Chris Seems to be working fine now Milan since some posts to lists were not showing up either. Guess it works now, sorry for the noise on the list.
