[Evolution] Evolution EWS not syncing calendar appointments

2015-10-09 Thread Juan Gabriel Ossa
Hi everyone.

I'm experiencing a weird behaviour in my Evolution + EWS set up.
When I create an new appointment using the Evolution interface the
appointment appears in the outlook web interface. But when I create the
appointment using the outlook web interface the appointment doesn't appear
in the evolution interface.

What can I do?

Thanks

Juan Ossa

Re: [Evolution] Evolution not showing Inbox

2015-10-09 Thread SigurgeirG
I have solved a part of the problem and hopefully the bug you identified has
solved the other part. Going through another mail client and choosing
subscriptions, I found out that Inbox wasn't subscribed. Not having Inbox
subscribed caused all other folders to disappear from manage subscription
dialog in Evolution.

As I have my Inbox now in Evolution, I think I haven't more to add to this
thread.

Regards, Sigurgeir

Re: [Evolution] Evolution not showing Inbox

2015-10-09 Thread SigurgeirG
Thanks for a good answer.

What bothers me with your suggestion is that folder->subscription does not
return anything for this specific mail account. It does not even return the
folders that do appear and are accessible. Any thoughts on that ?

Regards, Sigurgeir

[Evolution] pre-formatted

2015-10-09 Thread Wolf Drechsel
Hi everybody,

in the list archive, I found a thread titled "How do I get rid of
"preformatted" ".

My evo is suffering from the same problem, but with ubuntu 15.04, at
the moment I seem to be restricted to evo 3.16.0. Is there another
solution than waiting for the update?

Cheers,
Wolf

See https://help.gnome.org/users/evolution/3.12/data-storage.html

You can read and edit Evolution's data by using Evolution.

No, apart from switching to a different distribution which actually
ships recent versions (in this case, Evolution 3.16.5).

Hi,
please answer Andre's request first.

Then, it depends, because if your server supports notifications, and
the evolution version you have knows how to work with notifications,
and you have notifications enabled, then the event created in the
outlook can appear more or less instantly. Otherwise a manual refresh
of the calendar is required, which can be found in a context menu above
the respective calendar. Or wait until the refresh interval elapses.

If this is not working, then the issue is something else than I thought
of.
Bye,

Ubuntu 15.10 works just fine. I have been using 3.16.5 in a mission critical
environment.

Re: [Evolution] pre-formatted

2015-10-09 Thread Emilio Recio
Or you can just compile it from source:

Easy way is to install evolution-*-devel packages, which will install
the devel dependencies. Then uninstall evolution*-devel packages only.
Don't forget to kill any running evolution packages (ps -aux|grep evo).

Then...the following works for me:

evolution-data-server-3.16.5:
./configure --disable-uoa --with-openldap --with-contact-maps

evolution-3.16.5:
./configure --with-openldap --enable-contact-maps \
--enable-plugins=all --disable-autoar

evolution-ews-3.16.5:
./configure

Should mention that it's just a tad complicated for average users.
