[Evolution] Colord/ioctl
I get a message in Evolution that signing fails due to some ioctl, and SELinux is giving me a message about some colord attempt to accsess read on this file: /etc/udev/hwdb.bin. Are these to connected somehow? I'm running Evolution on both Trisquel and Mint with no problems. Now I'm in Fedora, and also want to use Evolution there too. But signing and encryption fails due to some issues with the ioctl. About the other message, from SELinux, I really don't know what is. I was thinking that Evolution needs access to my gpg keys, and that Fedora (SELinux) somehow denies it? What can I do about this, please. Re: [Evolution] how to move mails and configs to a new machine
Hi Pete, All, I am writing just to report I succeeded to move my 9.5Gb mail archive to my new machine. Thanks for your support. Evo's internal Export did not work, most likely because I did not have enough free space on the old machine. What did work was to mount by nfs the old directory on the new machine, and just to copy over two directories: /.config/evolution and /.local/share/evolution. To copy the latter took more than one hour. Everything was preserved: mails, folders, accounts, filters. Before to copy, I did try to pkill Evolution on both machines, but I am not sure it really matters. Thanks Cheers mario On Thu, 2016-03-24 at 15:32 +, Pete Biggs wrote: > > > > I need to move my mails (several Gigas) and the different pieces of > > configuration (accounts, filters, ..) to a new machine.
