[Evolution] evolution-ews-3.28.3 unable to update calendar meetings
Hello, I've updated my evolution packages on Fedora 28 from evolution-ews- 3.28.1-1.fc28.x86_64 to evolution-ews-3.28.3-1.fc28.x86_64 and since then updating participants (adding/removing) on a meeting is not possible anymore. When I downgraded back to 3.28.1 it started to work again. There is something wrong with an XML being sent to MS Exchage, XSD validation fails with: "Cannot modify calendar object: The request failed schema validation: The element 'Updates' in namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchan ge/services/2006/types' has invalid child element 'IsResponseRequested' in namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/services/2006/types '. List of possible elements expected: 'AppendToItemField, SetItemField, DeleteItemField' in namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.c om/exchange/services/2006/types'." I can provide WSDL/XSDs from the server if required (previous mailing list post with these attached was rejected by an admin as too big). Best regards, Jiri -- Ing. This is after [1] and I'd bet I tested that code path too, but I see I didn't. My fault, I'm sorry about that. I'll update [1] with a follow up change and also create an update for Fedora when the fix is available. Hi, the fix is part of this update: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/evolution-ews-3.28.3-2.fc28 It requires logout, because the change is on the evolution-calendar- factory side. Restarting that process is enough, but the logout (or restart) is usually easier. [Evolution] Font size of printed text is HUGE!
Since I rarely need to print email on paper, it's the first time I've noticed this: the printing size of a text is damn huge! And I'm not able to adjust it. This time i've solved printing by Thunderbird but it's a bit frustrating. Why the font size of printed text is so big -- much bigger than the text printed on screen? (and there's nothing specific for resizing it). Thanks in advance. -- fp ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

Distro: Arch linux (current) Evolution: 3.28.3 webkit2gtk: 2.20.3-1 I'm simply doing File > Print, nothing else. This happens even if I print to PDF file. Result: the difference between the On screen and on print font size is huge. On Mon, 2018-06-25 at 13:40 -0500, Japhering wrote: > Just out of curiosity, is the lack of that package something the > build should have detected ? Hi, that's a question for flatpak-builder, or better for your distribution, to update the package dependencies. The flatpak-builder itself detected missing first binary, it told you so, but the second one had been mandatory and it detected it's missing the hard way. Thus I believe it should be fixed on the packaging level. On Mon, 2018-06-25 at 14:44 -0500, Japhering wrote: > Thoughts ? Nothing more than what's here: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/evolution-list/2018-June/msg00079.html Eventually, I can provide one more (ugh, the third version) build script of the Flatpak Evolution, which will use system evolution-data- server, just like GNOME Calendar and others, thus it'll not run in an isolated sandbox. That would be only for the stable version, if at all; or I can change the stable version to just do it this way, but there will be a huge disadvantage, because when you'll need certain fix on the evolution-data-server side, like when some book/calendar backend will require a change to behave properly, then even when you use up-to- date evolution, then the backend itself will be outdated, thus you'll not have the fix and it'll still misbehave. This makes false impression, from my point of view, thus I chose to have Flatpak version also use the up-to-date evolution-data-server, which has the other disadvantages (see the first section of the Wiki page for Evolution in Flatpak). It's so isolated that you cannot access local system files, among other things. There are some more technical details around this, but I do not want to tire people here.
