[Evolution] Fwd: Multiple Attachments

2020-02-18 Thread Tim Smith
Hi All
I have not received any response to my support query below. The
missing 'Save All' button is very annoying so just sending this message

you.

Hi All
I am using Evolution 3.34.3 in Linux Mint 19.3. I cannot find the Save
All attachments button between the email header and the contents of the
email so am having to save email attachments individually. Please could
somebody advise; is there an options settings for this feature that I
need to toggle on somewhere (I have checked Preferences and also looked
online for a solution)? Many thanks.
Kind Regards

Tim Smith

You have - see either your email inbox, or the list archives. :)
The question is if you use a native version or a Flatpak version.

Cheers,

You mention the option "Print to LPR". Are you familiar with lpr?
It is an old program that does some minimal formatting on a text
file and sends it to a selected printer. (Assuming the uppercase
LPR in the option is the same thing.) I used to use this with
evolution decades ago to print emails. Maybe lpr in your flatpack
can talk to your printer--at least I would look at the man page
and try it.

CUPS - the printing subsystem on nearly every LINUX (UNIX?) host - can
be set to listen to LPR/LPD requests. If you enable that you will
easily be able to print to any printer you have locally configured on
the 'host' operating system.
