[Evolution] iCloud connecting error
Hi!
I'm trying to connect to my iCloud e-mail service and I see this message: "error while trying
to download directories: Parse Error (took 0 ms)" ("błąd podczas pobierania
katalogów" in Polish, so my english translation can be not accurate). I think that all data I
provided are correct, because in Mozilla Thunderbird everything works fine. I used Evolution in
past and there was not such error.
Is there any help for me?

To add your EteSync account go to Edit->Accounts->Add->Collection Account and left it lookup for the EteSync account for you (you should see a checkbox for it there). It's sometimes required to restart the background evolution-data-server processes (and Evolution itself) to have the newly installed plugins loaded, which can be done with: evolution --force-shutdown , but I do not expect it being the problem. I have the same problem with Evolution version 3.36.4-0ubuntu1 running
on Ubuntu 20.04.
Thank you Andre for the link. I followed all the conversations and
checked the different links included.I ended up at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-data-server/3.36.5-0ubuntu1
and I downloaded evolution-data-
server_3.36.5.orig.tar.xz and evolution-data-server_3.36.5-
0ubuntu1.dsc. I tried to open these files. But I don't know what to do
with them.
