[Evolution] Small Left Calendar Month boundaries in List View issue

2020-09-14 Thread Allen via evolution-list
Hi, and hope I'm overlooking something silly, but here is what I
observe.

Evolution 3.36.5 - Gnome 3.36.6 - Manjaro 20.1

When changing the month on the small calendar the month boundaries
(first and last days) automatically selected to display on list view
doesn't change until the advance arrow is clicked a second time. The
days selected for display seem to never be just including that selected
month, but also include days from the other months either prior or
next.

Anyone else notice similar or just I've misplaced a setting somewhere?
Not investigated if this happens in other views as well.

Thanks for any help,
Allen

Re: [Evolution] CSV file will not import.

2020-06-10 Thread Allen via evolution-list
Hi,

I'm not an expert by any means, but I use a similar technique weekly
for importing tasks into Evolution. Weekly editing done in LibreOffice
Calc, saved as CSV. I noticed that tasks import with .ics files so
wrote a python script to convert for my particular application. The
imports have been working fine until the last one on Sat. 6/6. In
attempting to use the import menu item and dialog it failed. When I
right-clicked the file in nautilus to open with Evolution, all works
beautifully again!

Manjaro 20.0.3 - Evolution 3.36.3

[Evolution] Calendar: Start of Week Problem

2020-05-14 Thread Allen via evolution-list
Hi Everyone,

New to the list, and I've been using Evolution for about 4 months. I've
looked through what I could find about setting the start day of the
week, which is Sunday for me (US), but it seems the week display is
still Saturday, even the highlighting of the week on the small monthly
in left starts with Saturday. If I have start of week set to Sunday
shouldn't these also indicate that?

If there is a setting I've missed please point me in that direction.

Thanks for any help,
Allen
