[Evolution] Sent Folder
I am using Evolution 2.30.3, Ubuntu 10.10. I just noticed that my Sent folder only has about 2 dozen messages instead of the several hundred it usually contains. When I check Preferences/Edit/Defaults, it shows the Sent Messages Folder is Sent and I don't believe this has changed. Any suggestions as to what I might have done to lose my records and whether it is possible to find them? Thanks. [Evolution] Date Format
I am using Ubuntu 10.10 and Evolution 2.30.3 and rely heavily on the calendar reminders. I have just realized that, although I have (under Edit | Preferences |Calendar and Tasks | Display) the format set to M/D/Y, reminders are showing up as though they were entered as D/M/Y. For instance, a birthday reminder for September 12, 2010 just popped up a couple of days ago as a reminder for 12/9/2010. I have also noticed that, although I have set the time format (under Edit | Preferences | Calendar and Tasks | General) to 12 hour (AM/PM), when I enter an appointment, it immediately changes the time to 24 hour format. Is there another setting somewhere that should be changed? Thank you. I have been following this discussion hoping to learn something about threading (I have--thank you!). Re: [Evolution] Evolution documentation update
Hi Bharath, Sorry for the delay in replying. Is there anyone in the Evolution community who would be interested in helping out with some of our plans? Unfortunately, one of our contributors won't be able to continue working on the Evolution docs, so we could use some extra help. Here's a brief list of what we're doing/planning: * Converting FAQ topics to Mallard * Reviewing the existing Evolution docs and converting appropriate topics to Mallard * Organising a UI/string review Thanks, Phil I don't have the necessary knowledge either of Evolution or Mallard, but I am a good proof reader. If that would be of any help, please let me know. [Evolution] Printing Evolution's Calendar
I would very much like to be able to print the calendar on a 4.5 x 6.75 page so it will go in my Daytimer-type book. I am using version 2.28.3. I have set up a custom page size, checked all the available boxes, and clicked apply, but when I print it still goes to 8.5 x 11 page format. Any words of wisdom? [Evolution] Recurring Problem with Sent Mail Folder
I am using Evolution 2.28.1 and Ubuntu 9.4. Some weeks ago, my sent folder became corrupted. Thanks to some help from this list, I was able to delete the folder and have it start accumulating outgoing mail again. However, yesterday I noticed that it had happened again. Does anyone know what might be causing this? I now know how to fix it, but still lose some history of what I've done, and I'd like to avoid that if possible. Thanks. I see no EXPORT function in my Evolution 2.28.1 menus Probably your best bet is to use a VCF/Vcard to CSV converter - I've never used one, but there seem to be plenty around on doing a google search. This is linked to the fact that if you set up a display by list of the contacts, you can see them on screen correctly but cannot print them as you see them ... nor can you change the printer views but this could be linked to the printer drivers... I originally had a windows printer ... In that case you probably want a Vcard printing application. P. Re: [Evolution] Printing templates
I believe this one is a bug in the system. I've been working with it for months and have not been able to get it to do anything other than letter size. Have reported it as a problem. My extremely inelegant work-around is to create a Writer template and print out 3 months calendar pages at a time and write in appointments as they come up. If you come up with an easier one, I'd love to hear about it as this is a major annoyance for me. Barbara On Sun, 2009-10-04 at 01:37 -0400, Matthew Berglund wrote: Greeting list!
