Hi Mike,

I may not be able to help, but I'm guessing those that can will need to know
the version of Outlook you are running.

Cheers,

Hang on, have I got this right? You're running BETA software (Fedora 16
is the latest stable release), did not use the recommended method for
transferring data and have cleansed the original system before checking
to see if your backups are usable? I'm confident the folks here will be
able to help you out, if it is possible. However I think that the
lesson to be learnt here is to plain your migrations, especially when
beta code is involved.

Evo 3 uses maildir for local mailboxes, but the conversion code from the

Hi All,

Thanks to everyone who helped me out with my Sync issues, and yes Milan
it was an upgrade, the whole system was, starting with a fresh install

the system on new hardware.

One other question, is there a way to retrieve a stored password for an

I'm getting Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync on one of

with google and found a suggestion to fix this by deleting
Inbox.ibex.index Inbox.ibex.index.data but I do not have these files in
my .evolution/local directory.

When you create a new message, there is a menu item Insert-Html file. I
just tried it with evo 2.28.4 and the file is inserted as html (and as

Maybe, your html is not correct.

Hi Jim,

Had a similar problem with a Fedora box a little while back, turned out
to be a problem with the ISP's mail server not deleting POP3 mail
properly :-(

I could get round it by installing evolution-remove-duplicates from the
Fedora yum repo, might be worth seeing if a Ubuntu binary exists, or
download the source and compile.

make Linux behave properly with her palm, but now her palm has died. So, I
figure maybe now is the time to influence her purchase and try to get her to

 latest versions).

What should she get? She doesn't need a fancy one, and doesn't want to spend
a bunch on it. But it must be reliable, and must work 100% with Linux.

Indeed, is this the right list, or should I direct this question elsewhere?

 Thanks!
