Re: [Evolution] How to write in letters that have come in the In-Box

2007-08-16 Thread Steven Heimann

Lotus notes allows it. I used to edit the subject of incoming emails so
I could file them in a useful way for later reference. I have now
switched to Evolution and this is the feature I miss most.

I would like to know, do most other modern e-mail programs offer this

e-mail programs? Does Thunderbird offer it, does Outlook offer it, does
 Eudora offer it?

Since my ancient Eudora software dating back to 1997 offers it, I
presumed that other, more current software must as well. What is the
usual facility in other current programs in this regard?

[Evolution] Change subject line

2007-07-23 Thread Steven Heimann
I am using Evolution 2.10.1 on Ubuntu to access a Dovecot powered IMAP
server.

I would love to be able to edit the subject of received emails to make
them easier to identify later.

I have tried looking through the archives but because every archive
message has the word subject in it I haven't been able to find
anything useful.

Are there any tools to let me do this.

Thank you and regards
Steven
