Theoretically I'm mistaken, if you read posts of real usage, I'm seemingly right, rsync comes with pitfalls, especially regarding the UID. However, you are seemingly right that rsync could do the job, but mistaken that it is the easiest way, it seems to be rocket science to use rsync without a mistake. At least for all of us, who don't use rsync for this kind of task on a regular basis. ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

That was not clear as you did not explain this actual underlying problem to solve in your initial email. :) If you are after *transferring* data for good, there's no need to set up a Search folder which I mentioned in reply to your initial email. andre -- Andre Klapper | ak...@gmx.net https://blogs.gnome.org/aklapper/ ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
