sounds like http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=228929 to me.

change your account settings to "show subscribed mails only". then use
"folder > subscriptions" to subscribe to your inbox and any other
folder. you might need to restart Evo in between.

this has been fixed in later versions.

[Evolution] Evo 2.4.1 Ubuntu: Imap Inbox content not visible

hi,

i have a strange problem. On one imap mail account, i can't read/list
the content from the inbox folder, but from subfolders. All others
accounts  (same server) are o.k.

Normal i use Thunderbird/IMP for that account, but its strange, isn't
it?

It's Evo 2.4.1 from Ubuntu. With Thunderbird and IMP there is no
problem.
