[Evolution] Evolution 3.0.3 on Koji -- Still Broken
I have just installed evolution 3.0.3 from Fedora's Koji system with the hope that it would handle fonts, at least, better. No such luck. Problems: (1) Evolution-help-3.0.3 is missing from the release set. # rpm --upgrade *.rpm error: Failed dependencies: evolution = 3.0.2-3.fc15 is needed by (installed) evolution-help-3.0.2-3.fc15.noarch I installed using. rpm --upgrade --nodeps *.rpm Packages installed were: $ ll total 23704 -rw-rw-r--. 1 jonrysh jonrysh 8395029 Aug 31 09:09 evolution-3.0.3-1.fc15.x86_64.rpm -rw-rw-r--. 1 jonrysh jonrysh 86521 Aug 31 09:08 evolution-NetworkManager-3.0.3-1.fc15.x86_64.rpm -rw-rw-r--. 1 jonrysh jonrysh 2784397 Aug 31 09:13 evolution-data-server-3.0.3-1.fc15.x86_64.rpm -rw-rw-r--. 1 jonrysh jonrysh 4438465 Aug 31 09:13 evolution-data-server-debuginfo-3.0.3-1.fc15.x86_64.rpm -rw-rw-r--. 1 jonrysh jonrysh 230165 Aug 31 09:12 evolution-data-server-devel-3.0.3-1.fc15.x86_64.rpm -rw-rw-r--. 1 jonrysh jonrysh 7773841 Aug 31 09:09 evolution-debuginfo-3.0.3-1.fc15.x86_64.rpm -rw-rw-r--. 1 jonrysh jonrysh 394969 Aug 31 09:08 evolution-devel-3.0.3-1.fc15.x86_64.rpm -rw-rw-r--. 1 jonrysh jonrysh 95245 Aug 31 09:09 evolution-spamassassin-3.0.3-1.fc15.x86_64.rpm (2) Font handling still does not work properly, at least under KDE. No font control using, either KDE font control or local evolution font control, i.e. Evolution-Edit-Preferences-Mail Preferences-Message Display The font used for plaintext messages is **very** small. (3) Other problems are erratic. I'll report on them by and by. jon ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

Font can be adjusted through gconf-editor until 3.2 arrives. ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

I thought I'd looked for it explicitly, and not found it.
