[Evolution] GNOME proxy support in pre-2.24 releases?
Hello, I read up in the fine manual that Evo has a section for proxies in the preferences, with the option to have it automatically handled according to GNOME's settings, which is great. However, I have a computer running 2.22 and it doesn't have this setting (the manual section about proxies is absent, too). I will not be upgrading that computer for the foreseeable future, so I'd just like to know this: should I safely assume that Evolution 2.22 uses my gnome proxy settings transparently by default? Basically, my use case is hoping that setting gnome's proxy settings to point to a SSH tunnel is enough for using Evolution 2.22 over an unsecured public wifi. Thank you for your time. ___ Evolution-list mailing list Evolution-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
