New option? I doubt it. Maybe I'm lost a bit... a new option for what
you mean? There should be enough to do File-New-Calendar, choose
Google type and fill some values and that's it.

no, that I know but you cant edit from Evo to Google, make change in Evo and
syncro against Google...

and not I think I sended the email to the list! :D

Hmm I have it received only in my Inbox, same as that previous. maybe a
moderator review is awaiting. Let's see tomorrow :)

Thanks. I try to do it but it seems there's no meteorological calendar for
south america. Is it true? It can be fix?

Weather data can be obtained gratis from www.yr.no. They have a special
license that, as I understand it, allows you to use it for whatever you
like, as long as you refer to them as a data source. Read their licence
yourself if you're interested. They're very good and they have a website for
english speakers as well: http://www.yr.no/english/1.2025949

You get the data in xml format, so it should be easy to make a weather
source for a CalDAV calendar, or something like that. So, if none exists,
you can make it exist. :)

Good luck and have fun,

can you give any hints on how the raw xl can be converted into
calendar data? i wouldn't mind something like this for myself, as the
evolution ubilt-in forecast seems quite limited in scope. thanks!

[Evolution] Google Calendar and Meteorology

2009-10-23 Thread Sylvia Sánchez

I would like to know how to see my Google Calendar in Evolution and how
Meterology works in Evolution.
Another question: It has to be the same count, calendar and e-mail? In
example, LailahFSF calendar and LailahFSF mail. Or it could be mails
from a count and calendar froma another.

Thanks in advance
Sylvia

Hi,
go to Calendars, there File-New-Calendar, choose type Google. Similar
for Weather calendars. It's independent from your mail account(s).
Note the functionality of a Google calendar varies in 2.26 and 2.28
(later is using CalDav internally, which is better for some things).
With a weather calendar, it depends on your location, how far the
forecast is showing. It's up to a week, as far as I know.
Bye,
Milan
