Hi, I just wrote some debugging steps into https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/1571#note_1325255 Feel free to try it. It'll also help if we could continue there, on a single place, rather than dealing with the same thing on multiple places. I guess you'd need to downgrade also Evolution, to match the needs. By the way, when you run `evolution` from a terminal, what does it print there as a reason for the failure of the start? That error should narrow what to do to fix it. If you know when Evolution stopped showing the headers, at least approximately, then I'd check what packages changed since it worked the last time and try to restore previous version of them to see which will help. One option was the WebKitGTK package, but it was only a wild guess. There can be other packages involved. When I downgraded to webkit2gtk-2.34.1-3 I had the same issue but with webkit2gtk-2.34.1-2 Evolution no longer starts. These are the only ones I still have in my cache and since Evolution no longer starts i didn't look into further downgraing. Frank, could you join that bug, please? Is it possible to add some custom patches and compile Evolution on your side, please? I'd add some debug prints with used colors to see what it tries to do, though reading colors from the Adwaita theme variants was never a problem. You also mentioned it happened recently.
