Tom,

 

Thanks for having your team review RC2. Vlad issues RC3 on target as we
agreed and there are very few changes but I have UNH-IOL checking the
changes particularly on the iWARP cluster since Tatyana submitted a perftest
change. 

 

Steve moved a couple of bugs (2482,2485,2487) to target the 3.12-1 release
and we were unable to replicate bug 2488
  on our systems.
I am still working with Shirley Ma on Bug 2449
  but I have
moved the target release to 3.12-1 because there is still a fair amount of
work to be done. 

 

So if all goes smoothly, I would like to release the GA next Monday as we
discussed. Please let me know if anyone has concerns or objections.

Intel True Scale System Test has the following report:
We have tested OFED-3.12-rc2 covering qperf, RDMA, MPIs (OpenMPI-1.8.1,
mvapich2-1.9 and IntelMPI-4.1.1.036) and basic CLI commands. We haven't
found any new issues.

So looks good from our point-of-view.

minutes) and have them ready by 5/19/2014

. Maintainers should update their package release notes

. Vlad will release RC3 on Monday 5/19/2014

. We will take a week to test RC3 and then release OFED 3.12 GA on

1. Overview
===
These are the release notes of OpenFabrics Enterprise Distribution (OFED)
release 3.12-rc2. The OFED software package is composed of several software 
modules,
and is intended for use on a computer cluster constructed as an InfiniBand
Fabric, an iWARP Network or a RoCE Fabric.

Note: If you plan to upgrade the OFED package on your cluster, please upgrade
all of its nodes to this new version.


1.1 OFED 3.12-rc3 Contents
