I am fine with this idea as this is going to be quite helpful for excel enthusiasts looking out for jobs. I have drafted rules to post the jobs in group. Here are the same : 1) The subject title should contain [JOB] keyword. People can ignore post if they are not looking for job. 2) The job should require Excel and VBA as key skills 3) There should not be any website link in the post. 4) One person should not post more 2-3 jobs in a day. 5) The eligibility details, location, Job description should be specified. 6) The contact person email ID phone should be specified. 7) DO NOT Reply on JOB post. This should be announcement only and no discussion should be started on job posts. Any violation of above rules on posting jobs may lead to permanent BAN from the group. $$Excel-Macros$$ Defining Names Charting
OK... I've a problem. I've got the gist of this... but it's just not working for me. In worksheet 'Source Data', in Cell A5 is the Title for A Column .. DEMO PROJECT, and subsequent data beneath that (starting A6)... (These are addresses). There are some data in columns B-K, but don't want these included on my chart. In same worksheet in K5 is the Title Days from Start to Finish, and subsequent data beneath that (this # comes from a formula that subtracts one date from another). Here's the kicker, there will at one time be 100+ addresses (or projects) in column A, some of which may not have a finish date, hence, having no data in the K Column. For example, I may have data in Column A6:A75, BUT only data in Column K6, K16, K23, K24, K40, K45, K61, K70, K71, K72... I want to chart these... But, I want to chart without having to REchart every time I add new data... Does this make sense to you Please help! Excel 2007 -- -- Some important links for excel users: 1. I have a worksheet I use as a template that only has the VLOOKUP formulas in the first row. I use the AutoFill method to copy the formula to the rest of the lines depending on how many rows there are from a dynamic list. The VLOOKUP formula originally used a relative name for the table from the reference workbook [RefData]Data1!A:B. This file was opened as part of the macro before the AutoFill occurred and all the VLOOKUP references happily populated themselves. Somewhere over time, something's changed that I can't find. Now every time the AutoFill gets executed, it prompts me for the file, even though it's open. After I choose the file, it goes on its merry way. Since I actually use 4 files for external lookup data, I now get prompted 4 times. I have also tried prepending the complete file path to the workbook name, but still manage to invoke the open file dialog. Since this macro is run many times a day, it gets old really quickly. I've asked all my local gurus, and searched this group, and can't seem to find anyone who's having this same issue. Anyone here ever seen this or know how to revert to the non-prompting behavior?
