$$Excel-Macros$$ Need help atpvbaen.xlam and eurotool.xlam suddenly show up in vba ide why?

2012-12-01 Thread bpascal123
Hi there

Does anyone know the reason .xlam files suddenly show up in the vba ide? I
understand these are files from genuine microsoft office addins pack, I
don't recall any action with addins lately and until then I only had
current workbook and personal showing up as object with or without module.

Now, there are other files, I think I had the analysis tool pack enabled
before but I wouldn't notice anything in the vba code ide.

Has anyone experienced that or is this an issue regarding the office
installation (office 2010)?

Regards

Pascal

2012-12-01 Thread Blue J
Hi All,

I have a sheet named fruit-sheet in the attached excel, i have 4 outlines
(1 to 4) in it.

i need a macro code
i need a macro code which does the below:

1) it should get the values which can be seen when outline is 1 (in this
case fruits veg can be seen.) these values should be seen in sheet
DSR as a dropdown in all the cells of column E

2) it should get the values which can be seen when outline is 2 (in this
case apple, bananna, carrot, beetroot can be seen.) these values should be
seen in sheet DSR as a dropdown in all the cells of column F
here there is another condition: In DSR sheet, if i select Fruits in col E,
the values in the dropdown in col F should be only Apple Banana
if i select Veg in col E, the values ion the dropdown in col F should be
only carrot Veg

3) it should get the values which can be seen when outline is 3 (in this
case bangalore, Hyd, mum, goa, chennai, delhi, maratahalli st marks
village can be seen.) these values should be seen in sheet DSR as a
dropdown in all the cells of column G

here is one more condition: if i select fruits in col E apple in col F, i
should get only values bangaloe HYD in col G

4)it should get the values which can be seen when outline is 4, these
values should be seen in sheet DSR as a dropdown in all the cells of
column H

one more condition: if i select fruits in col E apple in col F, bangalore
in col G, i should get below values as dropdown in col H:
Russel market
ONG market

Shantinagar
ulsoor
rajajinagar
5) if i select fruits in col E apple in col F, bangalore in col G, Ulsoor
in col H, i should get the corresponding row value from fruit-sheet
(example in this case the row number is 9)

Please let me know if you need any more clarifications from my side.

Fw: $$Excel-Macros$$ Dynamic Fixed Asset Depreciation Schedule *

2012-12-01 Thread respuzy
Hello Gurus

i am trying to develop a very dynamic Fixed Asset depreciation schedule but
facing a slight formula or logic challenge and as usual seeking your expert
advice. Basically what this current schedule does is assuming you want to
depreciate your asset for say 5 years, starting from 2013 you will see
information for only the five years ending 2017 so at the end of the 5th
year, the asset would have been fully depreciated, assuming however in 2014
you acquired another asset and you expert to depreciate it for 5 years
also, it means by the end of 2018 you should have depreciated the 2nd
acquisition fully,

 The Scenario

in cell B9, i have entered the no of years for depreciation for the first
asset purchased in 2013 and am using the
formula IF($B$9=COLUMN(A1),,B11+1) in cell c11 to be able to cut off
years after 2017 ( ie 5 years),

The Problem

however if i enter the new purchase of asset in cell B27, then i would have
to enter the no of yrs for deprn for this asset in cell c9, then i expert
this formula to be modified IF($B$9=COLUMN(A1),,B11+1) so that the cut
off year will be in 2018, it has to be dynamic such that if i enter say a
new purchase in csll D27 and i enter say a the no of yr for deprn for this
asset in cell E9 the cut off year would be 2020
