Hi ravinder ,

The formula i wanted is as below if amount is Rs 6000 per month , per day
it is around Rs 200 . when we enter the start date and finish date the
amount
should be distributed by no of days in the month.
ie in january if it is 13 days it should show 2600 in january month column
please help me out in solving this issue

It looks like you've posted a NEW topic as part of a SUMMARY of topics in the 
group.

If you need assistance, I suggest you select the "New Topic" button at the top 
of the site.

Also, use a descriptive subject to help attract the participants that have an 
interest or area of expertise in the subject area.

next... explain exactly what you're trying to do and how you wish to accomplish 
your task (Excel functions, VBA macros, or other)

It would be helpful to supply examples or even a sample file.
Since sometimes a problem takes 5 minutes to solve, but 15 minutes  or more to 
figure out and assemble sample data.

Hi guys ,

I am using 2007 Microsoft excel. I am using pivot table but when I create it 
every time I need to go in pivot option then select display tab and then select 
pivot classic option every time. Is it any option for classics display. When I 
create pivot table then it directly create in classic option.

if the cell value length is less then 11 then find the solution with
Vlookup and Mid function.

if length if more then 10 then you have to edit the formula and add the

I am attaching a macro that I recorded. But I need the variables to be 
updated
 
Basically this macro is going thru several tabs and update the pivot tables 
by simply changing the dates.
 
So everytime I run the macro, I want dates in these pivot tables to be 
updated to today.

This requisition is for a supplemental staff position in the Electronic
Data Interchange (EDI) mainframe group. The EDI group utilizes IBM’s,
formerly Sterling, product Gentran to transform data from application flat
file format to EDI format and vice versa. Currently both ANSI and EDIFACT
are supported. Although EDI supports over 35 different EDI messages, the
majority of the volume are 210s, 214s, 215s, and 240s.

*Details of Position:*

· The individual must have extensive knowledge of Gentran on the
mainframe, COBOL, JCL, MQ, Syncsort, IBM utilities on the mainframe, VSAM,
File Aid, Expediter, S/FTP/S, Connect Direct (formerly Sterling RDX),
Easytrieve and REXX.

· If the candidate has working knowledge of ESP, DB2, SQL and
Changeman, it is a plus.

· The individual will be involved in every phase of the development
lifecycle.

· He/ She must be able to attend requirements meetings, translate
the requirements into design documents, code from a design document, create
test scenarios/cases/scripts, perform and support various testing cycles,
create implementation plans and implement the change.

· In addition, this person will recommend process improvements and
