Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ Wosksheet_Change Event Triggering issue

2015-02-16 Thread Mahesh B

 Thanks a lot for your valuable feedback. I was also able to make it work
by copy/move sheet but I didn't understand why it couldn't be able to
activate same sheet.

$$Excel-Macros$$ Error at VBA code

2015-02-16 Thread Christos Alekopoulos
Hello Experts,

I am going to need help with my code. I have a code that searches for a
value in all the worksheets in a destined folder and pastes the entire row
in an empty sheet in my current workbook. The problem is that I often get
an error type mismatch but not always. I still don't understand when the
error occurs there are many occasions that the functions works perfectly!
Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers,
Christos

This is the code

Sub SearchForString()

If Dir(myDir, 16) =  Then
MsgBox No such folder path, 64, myDir
Exit Sub
End If

myTask = InputBox(Enter Value or text)
If myTask = Then Exit Sub

x = Columns.Count
fn = Dir(myDir  *.xls*)

With Application
.ScreenUpdating = False
.EnableEvents = False
End With

Do While fn
With Workbooks.Open(myDir  fn, 0)

temp = r.EntireRow.Value
ReDim Preserve temp(1 To 1, 1 To x)
ReDim Preserve a(1 To n)
a(n) = temp
Set r = ws.Cells.FindNext(r)
Loop While ff  r.Address
End If
Next
.Close False
End With
fn = Dir
Loop

With ThisWorkbook.Sheets(2).Rows(1)
.CurrentRegion.ClearContents
If n  0 Then
