$$Excel-Macros$$ Fetching Matches Data
Hi Everyone, I need to have some data which I could take by doing VLOOKUP but there are multiple rows with same requirement, hence excel takes only first row with VLOOKUP. Can I have any other formula OR VB code which can work it out for me to take required data with multiple rows. I want to have 3 columns data viz. 1) Material, 2) Doctor Name & 3) Patient Name in "Sample Target" from file "Sample Source" When there are multiple rows for Material, it should be added with commas in the same cell. I have filed one example for one invoice in the same file. Column serial may differs but name is the same in both the file, for ready reference I have given Pink Background color for identification. Can someone help me out on this please. Find attached both the files. Regards Pravin Gunjal -- Are you =EXP(E:RT) or =NOT(EXP(E:RT)) in Excel? And do you wanna be? It’s =TIME(2,DO:IT,N:OW) ! $$Excel-Macros$$ Data moving from one file to other as required
Hi Friends Greetings! I have attached two files viz. Sample Source & Sample Target. I want 3 columns data from source file to target file in columns H, I & J. This has to be done based on "Invoice No." column. (If the invoice no. comes more than one in next row then "Material" should be added with comma, whereas "Doctor Name" & "Patient Name" should come only once for an invoice) e.g. I have taken up the data for Invoice No.8137000290 from source file to target. Could you please help me to get it done with any VB / Formula. *With regards,**Pravin Gunjal* -- Are you =EXP(E:RT) or =NOT(EXP(E:RT)) in Excel? And do you wanna be? It’s =TIME(2,DO:IT,N:OW) ! Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ VBA: Compile error: User-defined type not defined
I took a quick look myself. There doesn't seem to be a "standard" data type called "Table". Where you've used it before, do you have other macros (or class modules) that define this data type? In the other application (that works) try right-clicking on the word "Table" in: Dim myTable As Table and select "Definition".this will tell you where the keyword is defined. Perhaps the other application has an additional "Reference" included. Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ Need Help - Data validation selection from drop down list to auto-populate a range of cells below it
You can create a Worksheet_Change event.check to see if the cell changed (Target) is the cell with your pull-down selection, then process accordingly: Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range) If (Target.Address = "$A$4") Then Debug.Assert False End If End Sub Paul- “Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can.” - John Wesley - On Sunday, February 5, 2017 8:43 AM, Eric Butashwrote: Hi all, I'm stuck trying to find the correct method to auto-populate a range of cells based on a selection.
