Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ Hi - Details needed for the MIS Executive Qualification

2014-05-07 Thread Surya Narayanan PV

Hi sir I am currently working as Junior Software engineer/MIS for the past
2.5 years. My role includes coding in Vb 6.0, SQL server 2005. I do also
generate reports as per the requirement, so do have an average knowledge in
Excel. But I have to set my future career in MIS dept. so I would like your
help in tuning up myself. Kindly advice me about what all things I should
learn.

 Dear Krishna,

The profile of MIS Executive changes with the type organisation. If it is
a small organisation MIS Executive role would be to prepare normal reports
like the work you do.If it is a big and reputed organisation your role in
addition to normal report preparation would be to do fianacial modelling or
creating financial model which would help the management in its decision
making process. For more information for using excel in financial modelling
u can refer to the website www.exinfm.com.
