*Responsibilities:*

· Launch new and guide existing Agile teams on their Agile
transformation journey

· Launch Agile Release Trains: facilitate program level events,
such as Program Increment planning, feature writing workshops, backlog
refinement, scrum of scrums, retrospectives, etc.

· Coach and partner with various stakeholders such as Product
Managers, Product Owners, Business Owners, and IT leads to help ensure
strategy and execution alignment

· Cultivate a continuous learning environment delivering education
and training for the enablement of effective Scrum Masters, product
ownership, and Agile delivery teams with the ability to scale

· Influence IT and business leadership and management teams on
Agile principles, practices and tools

· Provide thought leadership by participating in Communities of
Practice, Lunch & Lunch forums, Agile Day activities, and other workshops
as needed

· Escalate and track (progress on removing?) impediments to Agile
adoption

· Facilitate quarterly assessments of teams to document maturity
progress and drive continued Agile maturity & improvements

· Stay abreast of new Agile best practices, tools and techniques,
methods, strategies

The Agile Coach is responsible for facilitating the day-to-day running of
an Agile team and ensuring that progress is visible to all key
stakeholders. They ensure that the team functions as effectively as

Duties will include:

Ensuring that the team follow the values and principles of Agile as far as
possible and apply the  SAFe framework appropriately.

Ensuring transparency on team activities including sprints, velocity,
risks, team and stakeholder happiness.

Delivering integrated change across multiple Development Centers.

Ensuring quality is driven into all aspects of the delivery lifecycle and
defects are driven out as early as possible.

Being part of the Agile community across FMCNA

Working in partnership with Run teams to ensure long term integrity and
maintainability of our software assets.

Management and control of resources and suppliers ensuring that supply and
capability meets agreed commitments including engagement or engineering
initiatives.



This is a facilitative leadership role. The Scrum Master should seek to
promote self-organization within the team, i.e. the team collectively
optimizes itself to achieve the defined Sprint and project goals, rather
than the Scrum Master acting as authority and coordinator.  The Scrum
Master takes ownership that the right things are happening, preferably not
ownership of the activities themselves.

12+ years’ experience in software delivery

Experience with building and growing cross-functional distributed Agile
teams and transforming organizations.

Ability to inspire individuals and teams to change and improve.

Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and facilitation skills.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work with and influence leaders at all levels of the
organization.

Deep knowledge and understanding of Agile values and principles and how to
apply these in a complex, highly regulated environment

In depth knowledge of Scrum and Kanban, and a working knowledge of other
Agile frameworks.

A good general understanding of the sdlc and delivery/project management
tools and techniques.

Experience in coaching and delivering training within the agile framework
(portfolio, program, and team)

Experience in coaching and the facilitation of core agile practices,
including, but not limited to

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Note: We need a real-time Agile Coach who have 6-7 years of relevant
experience.

Rate can’t be more than 75-95/h on C2C (all inclusive)

Mphasis is looking for Senior Technical Agile Coaches to help its client’s
technology teams go through the Agile Transformation and realize the
benefits of Agile methodology in terms of product quality and delivery. IT
teams are globally spread. Coaches will be part of team of coaches helping
a Line of Business in Agile transformation.

Key roles:

Work with large IT teams as Team Coach applying Agile principles and
practices
Coaching development and project management teams on Agile methodologies
and frameworks in overall transformation effort
Implementing Agile frameworks as well as process definition and
implementation
Facilitating retrospective meetings and determining contributing aspects of
success and accomplishment
Enabling continuous integration, and test-driven deployments
Evaluating and assessing team performance relative to Agile principles,
evaluating and assessing existing Agile processes, ceremonies, techniques
and methods in the spirit of continuous improvement, value delivery and
establishment of Agile standards and best practices
Defining and promoting Agile, including processes, practices, and tooling
throughout the organization
Providing hands-on guidance and mentoring in the use of Agile Lifecycle
Management (ALM) tool and other Agile performance-based tracking software
Coach teams in individual and group settings

Expected skills:

At least 15 years of experience working in IT, with at least 5 years of
latest experience as a team coach
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to apply Agile concepts in different environments and situations
Solid experience with multiple implementations of Agile, including Scrum,
SAFe, Kanban, etc.
A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player
An articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an
organization and possesses excellent communication skills
Fully versed with technical practices involved in the project delivery,
pair programing, test processes / automation including CI/CD, user stories,
unit testing, etc. TDD (Acceptance, unit)
Familiar with software development lifecycle, professional software
development behavior (pair programming, continuous integration, clean code,
and refactoring. etc)
Good experience with at least one tracking tool like Jira, Rally, TFS
Should be able to deep dive into technical impediments and provide viable
solutions
Expected to be very hands-on with the team.

Education / Training:
BA/BS required
MA/MS preferred
Agile certification preferred,
