Try these below mentioned formulas
=SUMPRODUCT(((--(A1:A4={"a","b"})*B1:B4)) / (COUNTIF(A1:A4, "a") +
COUNTIF(A1:A4, "b")))
OR
=SUMPRODUCT((--(A1:A4={"a","b"})*B1:B4))/SUMPRODUCT(--(A1:A4={"a","b"}))
