* Title: ETL Informatica Developer* *Location: Minneapolis, MN* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job Responsibilities* - Interpreting and analyzing business requirements and converting them into high and low-level designs. - Designing and developing ETL mappings keeping in view the performance criteria. - End-to-end ownership for developing, unit testing and migrating the ETL code with quality and minimal supervision. - Writing tuned SQL queries. - Performance Tuning of ETL code. - Work closely with customers, business analysts and technology & project team to understand business requirements, drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with business and technology strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. - Understand and follow-up through change management procedures to implement project deliverables. - Coordinating with support groups such as DBA, Unix, Informatica admins to get the issues resolved in a quick turnaround time. - Working with data and ETL architects to help design an optimal solution. *Required Qualification* - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent work experience. - 4 to 8 years of experience with Informatica Power Center on Data Warehousing or Data Integration projects. - Proven ability to write high quality code. - Comfortable in writing complex ETL code. - Experience in writing complex SQL queries. - Experience in Oracle Environment using tools like Toad, Oracle SQL Developer. - Good knowledge of relational database preferably ORACLE and SQL Server. - Basic Knowledge of UNIX/LINUX shell scripting. - Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Demonstrated experience of working in a team spread across multiple locations. *Preferred Qualification* - TWS scheduler hands-on experience. - Experience in Informatica Power exchange. *ETL Informatica Developer with Oracle ERP* 5+ Months San Francisco, CA *Details:* · Design data models, ETL mappings and associated objects of analytical solutions. · Design and development of analytical solutions including Business Objects based data marts and Salesforce analytics solution – Wave. · Review solution design and ensure that the defined EDW standards and framework are followed. · Review and validate logical and physical design to ensure alignment with the defined solution architecture. · Create/review technical documentation for all new and modified objects. · Ensure quality assurance plan and cases are comprehensive to validate the solution thoroughly. · Support QA, UAT and performance testing phases of the development cycle. · Understand and incorporate the required security framework in the developed data model and ETL objects. · Define standards and procedures; refine methods and techniques for data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) both in batch and “near real-time” modes. · Evaluate, determine root cause and resolve production issues. · Work closely with other IT development groups to deliver coordinated software solutions. *Required Skills:* · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline, with 4+ years related information systems experience in Data Warehousing and delivery of BI solutions. · Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, relational star-schema database designs, and big data platforms and associated tools. · Deep understanding and hands-on experience of Business Objects, Informatica 9.x, Tableau, and Oracle 11g system components, internal processes, and architecture. · Deep and strong knowledge of SQL and relational database models. · Hands-on experience with creating Unix shell scripts · Hands-on experience in data modeling · Experience working in an agile environment is required, must have a clear understanding of the role and responsibility of a Scrum Master. · Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross-functional teams at all levels. · Self-starter, highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change, think through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against tight deadlines. · Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and nontechnical audiences. · Excellent interpersonal skills will be needed in order to build strong relationships that will be critical to the success of this role.
