Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ Help for date formula

2014-08-12 Thread Paul Schreiner
I'd use something like:
With the date to consider in A1, use:

=(YEAR(TODAY())-YEAR(A1))*12+MONTH(TODAY())-MONTH(A1)

Hi Gopi,

The attached workbook has been revised as per your requirements.
Now whenever the current user will close the workbook, the date stamp will
freeze automatically.

Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ Help on Date Function

2009-12-04 Thread RolfJ
Since I am firm believer in writing concise code whenever possible,
especially when assisting others in learning the power of VBA, I
thought it would be helpful to post a shorter version of your
Move_Only_Date_To_Result routine (3 statements instead of 9):

Sub Move_Only_Date_to_Result()
Sheets(Sheet1).Range(B7:D12).Copy Sheets(Results).Range
(A1)
Sheets(Results).Range(C2:C6).Copy
Sheets(Results).Range(C2).PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues
End Sub

Best wishes,
