Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ If formula Required
You keep mentioning an "IF" formula, but I don't see one.I'm not sure what "test" you're expecting for an "if" formula. It looks like you're trying to simply add the values in the two columns (C and D)for each of the values in column B. This can be done with the Sumif() function. See attached. although, you have values in rows 10 and 11 for product "AAA".Your output seems to expect a value of 40.But I only see one previous entry of 20.00. All the other calculations match your expectation, so I'm not sure where the error lies. Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ Re: FORMULA REQUIRED
I think I see your issue.Your example has (4) products (Product A, B, C, D)Your formula "manually" adds the Unit volumes for eachand the costs for each. But if you have more Products, this calculation becomes harder to manage. You want a sum of the Unit volume of ALL products, not EACH product. In cell J3, I would use: =SUMIF($A$2:I$2,J$2,$A3:I3) Copy it to Column K and down. $$Excel-Macros$$ Re: formula required to update values form one sheet to another sheet with date criteria
Not clear what you are trying to do but if your master sheet has different names and you are trying to sum for your report sheet try the following: =SUMIF(MASTER!$B$5:$B$35,Raman Choudary,MASTER!C5:C35) That goes into B9 of your report sheet. You can then copy across. If B10 is a different name copy the above formula to B10 and change the Raman Choudary to that name. Hope this is of some help. Regards.
