Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ If formula Required

2016-02-24 Thread Paul Schreiner
You keep mentioning an "IF" formula, but I don't see one.I'm not sure what
"test" you're expecting for an "if" formula. It looks like you're trying to
simply add the values in the two columns (C and D)for each of the values in
column B.
This can be done with the Sumif() function.
See attached.
although, you have values in rows 10 and 11 for product "AAA".Your output seems
to expect a value of 40.But I only see one previous entry of 20.00.
All the other calculations match your expectation, so I'm not sure where the
error lies.

Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ Re: FORMULA REQUIRED

2015-10-26 Thread Paul Schreiner
I think I see your issue.Your example has (4) products (Product A, B, C, D)Your
formula "manually" adds the Unit volumes for eachand the costs for each.
But if you have more Products, this calculation becomes harder to manage.
You want a sum of the Unit volume of ALL products, not EACH product.
In cell J3, I would use:
=SUMIF($A$2:I$2,J$2,$A3:I3)
Copy it to Column K and down.

i.e. if we sum row three in J3 and K3, the sum must be of row 3 only not the

Thanks for your reply, but let me clear as you may see if we put more data
in the rows we may have the sum of all the rows at one place, look at the
sheet, but i need only row wise sum not the sum of the different rows at
one place i.e. if we sum row three in J3 and K3, the sum must be of row 3
only not the others.

$$Excel-Macros$$ Re: formula required to update values form one sheet to another sheet with date criteria

2013-07-19 Thread Probyn Cope
Not clear what you are trying to do but if your master sheet has different
names and you are trying to sum for your report sheet try the following:

=SUMIF(MASTER!$B$5:$B$35,Raman Choudary,MASTER!C5:C35)

That goes into B9 of your report sheet. You can then copy across. If B10 is
a different name copy the above formula to B10 and change the Raman
Choudary to that name. Hope this is of some help.

Regards.

Set wbkFinal = Workbooks.Add(1)
varArrFile = Application.GetOpenFilename(*.xls,*.xlsx, , Select

If IsArray(varArrFile) = False Then
MsgBox Select File...
Exit Sub
Else
For intCtr = LBound(varArrFile) To UBound(varArrFile)
Set wbk = Workbooks.Open(varArrFile(intCtr))
With wbk.Worksheets(1)
Set rngData = .UsedRange
End With
With wbkFinal.Worksheets(1)
rngData.Copy
