Ok. I know that one. You need to get a column way out to the right, perhaps col Z set it to the same width as the merged cell and the same font etc. Say your merged cell is in B5 then in the cell Z25 you put =B5 Now the autoheight will work on the copy of the merged cell and you should see the text in B5 just fine. Please remember we are volunteers, and you really need to make it easy for us to help you. There is another reason. Frequently the effort of setting out the problem helps the person to identify what their real problem is and solving it themselves thereby learning, which is one of the aims of all of us.
