Script to autocreate mail folder/server side rule
Exch55sp4, NT4sp5. Checked cdolive.com, but wasn't able to find what I was looking for. Looking for a way to script the creation of a mail folder and the creation of a rule forwarding mail (based on subject line) to this folder for a specified set of mailboxes in the GAL. We have lots of users who only have access to OWA and have no way to manually create the folder/rule the organization wants everyone to have. Thanks ... So, like, where can you configure the settings on the POP3 only server to fetch mail from other exchange mailbox servers in the same site and different sites? Any KB articles? RE: POP3/IMAP access
Umm ... Well, the smtp relays svrs are linux running qmail, so I'd like to just use them for this also. I guess I could just throw up a POP3/IMAP only exchange server in the dmz also, but will this redirect pop3/imap requests to multiple exchange mailbox servers behind the firewall? My understanding is it's one to one (haven't checked this one out yet). So, the WHY is to remove the mailbox servers from any direct ip/port exposure to the internet and have outside the firewall people hit dmz boxes only.
