I a workstation that has read receipt turned on. Each time they go to open or delete the receipt it gives them a dialog box that says: The custom form could not be opened. Outlook will use an Outlook form instead. They click ok and then receipt either opens or deletes depending on what action they were requesting. This is just a Vanilla setup of Office 2000 with Outlook using the Corporate/Workgroup setup. No bells and whistles. This stupid domain name (IM_DOM1) is going to kill me when I go to Active Directory and E2K, isn't it. This is the domain I took over the Net Admin job with. I told myself and the Mgr of the dept that it wasn't/isn't a FQDN but there hasn't been a need until W2K Active directory to even think about FQDN's in this domain. So before I go Active Directory I need to change my domain name to something that meets industry standards. I know this is OT but is there an RFC I can print and give to the VP's and Mgr's to back up my claim or am I making an assumption on my part? Thanks everyone. I will look into all three areas. I send to three different web enabled phones and of the three this is the only one that complains this way. The other two messaging.nextel.com and mobile.att.net receive their messages just fine. I just wanted to make sure my exchange was setup correctly. Outlook Rules
I have an Exchange 5.5 sp4 w/IMS running on NT 4.0 sp6a. My email client is Outlook 2000 on a WinXPsp1. I am trying to set up a rule that will forward an email sent to me. I can manually forward the incoming email from X. to Y. But when I set up the rule it does nothing. The X is in my Recepients the Y is in my personal contacts. When I am manually forwarding it I select it from my contacts. When I am setting up my rule I select it from my contacts. I don't see any obvious errors but it still doesn't work.
