RE: NetMeeting

Site Server ILS Service: it's an optional component you
can install on W2K server.

You just need an LDAP server to keep track of each Netmeeting user. MS used
to have a one called Internet Locator Service (or some such). Not sure if
it's still available.

Anybody out there using NetMeeting with Exchange 5.5? We've never used it
before, and were looking for a way for several people to communicate without
having to type in the computer name. Perhaps a user name or E-mail
address? Anybody know if that's possible?

Thanks.

Robert

SMTP timeouts for E2K same as for Exchange 5.5?

2003-01-15 Thread March, Harold W.

For the Exchange 5.5 IMC, SMTP timeout parameters were available
under the registry key
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MsExchangeIMC\Parameters
such as SMTPWaitFor DataBlock et al.
Would anyone know for sure that the same registry entries are applicable

to Exchange 2000? If not, are there equivalents?

mixed 5.5/2k

Came in this morning, started noticing duplicate accounts in the GAL. Just
about everyone. Being done automaticallly, i.e. they're being created at
an alarming rate.

Nothing to indicate why this is happening (can't find the Starting to
duplicate your GAL now note in the Event Log)

Any ideas?

If he's willing to part with the cash, RAdmin is an
alternative if you're a pure NT/W2K shop:
