No spare parts? How do you fix people when they have bad hardware?
Actually, we used to be like that here, until I convinced them that it was
better to be able to build a new machine for situations such as this. Even
if it was just one or two "loaner" PCs that we had in back. Get some nice
imaging software such as DriveImage or Ghost to make this work.
My 2 quatloos, take 'em or leave 'em. But I feel for you, I really do....

No, we're a small shop with limited resources. We just added 3 new
people and I was scraping the bottom of the barrel to scrounge up
machines for them. We will not be able to buy anything new until after

If I could identify the problem, I could solve it. All HTML messages
come out with a black background. I've replaced the video board and the
monitor, but have had no luck. The machine will not display in anything
but 16 colors, 640 x 480.
