RE: Exchange Limits
There are many reasons to enforce size limits in an organization. Many reasons center around storage and backup considerations. Performance can be hampered the larger mailboxes are, too. One very important yet frequently overlooked issue is SECURITY. Without size limitations, and depending on other factors, there are certain DDoS attacks that can result in rendering a whole Exchange Information Store inaccessible. One approach you might want to consider is educating your users about the use of Personal Folders. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Doug Schaible Posted At: 03 November 2003 14:23 Posted To: Swynk Exchange (30 days) Conversation: Exchange Limits Subject: Exchange Limits Exchange 2000 SP3 Any suggestions on setting size limits on both the SMTP virtual server and on idividual mailboxes?
