RE: IMC issues
I saw this at a company I was consulting for once and it turned out that they were allowing open relay and the messages were SPAM messages being relayed through the server. RE: IMC issues
What do you get if you do an NSlookup on the domain name in question? I get a domain acknowledgement, but no IP addy info. Would seem to me that they are not accepting reverse DNS queries from other mail servers, thereby making it impossible for you to send them NDR's to their Spam. Drop their domain name in the Turf table entry list and be done with them. -Original Message- From: Dale Geoffrey Edwards [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, August 13, 2002 1:34 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: IMC issues We are all of a sudden getting hundreds (and I mean hundreds, as I go in there about twice a day and clean out about 300 at a time) of the following in the IMC Queues window: Originator <> If you go in to read what the error message says, it says "Host unreachable" even though I can ping it and go to the site on the Internet.
