I thought for some reason that you could view others calendars via OWA.
Is
it possible to view the calendars of others via OWA. If yes, how?

Thanks

RE: OWA Question

2003-06-10 Thread Sandhya Pai

I don't think this works with Exchange 5.5. In Exchange 5.5 you can only
open your own calendar and task items. Not anyone else's or the ones on
Public Folders. In exchange 2000 you can open anyone's caledars, tasks,
etc. as long as you have permissions.

Replace your exchange server name with servername and replace the
username of the user that you are trying to get calendar info of with
username, and THEN put the revised URL in to your browser.

Generally that delay is in regards to permissions.
Can you access the mailbox with a MAPI client or is the problem isolated

Subject: OWA Question

NT4 domain, Exchange 5.5

I've just created a new user and new mailbox for that user within the
last 15 minutes. In OWA, however, I get the message OWA was unable get
to your inbox.
Is this because I need to wait and if so, why the delay?
TIA.

Here's a question with probably a very simple answer: Why can't you access
personal distribution lists from OWA? Is this a feature or a bug?

Thanks,
Rob

RE: OWA question

2002-02-14 Thread Dupler, Craig

Can't?

Draw a map of the stores (services in this case) and what is in each.

What is in a PAB?
What is in the Outlook Address Book?
And so on.

Then draw a map of what OWA could theoretically see and what it can see
because the code has been built. Remember, OWA is a web pump. It builds a
web page view of some stuff on the fly.
