I'd think you'll have to solve this one with an attachment of some sort. Someone here asked if there is a way to send and email so that the content can not be altered by the recipient andf then forwarded on Not at all. If worse comes to pass a malicious person could copy the email out longhand from one window to another, format it to make it look forwarded (yes the headers wouldn't be quite right but who amoung your user community looks at those?) and send it on. Sure it wouldn't be the original email but the damage would be done because I presume what you really want to protect is the content of these emails, not the random collection of bits and bytes that were scraped together to take the content out of the author's mind and put it on screen. -- Robert Moir Microsoft MVP Senior IT Systems Engineer Luton Sixth Form College print chr(66) chr(79) chr(70) chr(72) _ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchangetext_mode=lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Indeed. However, Lotus Notes has a fabulous solution to this problem, as Notes can prevent messages from being forwarded on, etc. To invoke this solution, you simply click the 'Enable Bull$hit Security'[1] tick box. RE: Sending emails that can not be altered
A company called Authentica makes a product called MailRecall that does pretty much that. It does indeed work, but it requires a bit of overhead and an additional client for both sender and recipient. http://www.authentica.com/products/secure_messaging/mailrecall.asp -- Roger D. -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 PGP and many other products will at least sign the email so that the content cannot be changed without invalidating the signature.
