As a second suggestion, ensure the PST's (If they MUST be used) are not part of the roaming profile, also ensure the profiles are as small as possible. -Jorge -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Ed Crowley Sent: Tuesday, February 18, 2003 12:56 PM To: Exchange Discussions Slow Outlook login is usually due to poor name resolution. If the users have internet access - check the size of their profiles (in particular the 'temp internet files' folder. In addition, if you are using NAV on the desktops then make sure that network drives aren;t being scanned - i have seen these to factors slow down logins dramatically. _ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks Missy. Looks like you are correct. Dumping roaming profiles and using offline and redirected folders seems to be the better solution. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Missy Koslosky Sent: Tuesday, February 18, 2003 11:22 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Re: Sloow roaming profile logins W2K/E2k/OL2003 The best workaround is to remove as much stuff as possible from the profile.
