Either that or it's really still connected to someone and that's why everything is grayed out. Add the Full Mailbox Distinguished Name to the mailbox view in the ESM and see the account it is connected to. Then delete the mailbox from that account and connect it to whoever you are wanting. What have you still not done so far? Apparently it's type in the magical search term I mentioned previously and actually read the KB articles which come up.
