  Subject: creating linked mailbox issue

When I try to add a linked mailbox (exchange 07) that is going to be
associated with a user acount in another trusted forest I get as far as
browsing the linked domain controller and then I get the following messge:
could not find any domain controller in domain domain.local. Anyone have any
ideas why this might happen? The DC at the other site is 08 with 03 functional
level.

Cannot RETR Messages From Exchange 2003

2009-09-08 Thread Robert Jackson
We have a strange situation whereby we cannot RETR messages from
Exchange
2003. Connection to the host is eventually dropped.

In order to test the connection I'm using telnet:

telnet server 110
USER user name
PASS user password

So at this stage I'm successfully connected to the Exchange 2003 (SP1)
server
where I can LIST messages etc. However when I use RETR message number,

the command seems to hang, doesn't retrieve the message and eventually
quits
with connection to host lost.

Anyone any ideas?

Regards,
Rab.

I looked at mimosa but thought it was too expensive to implement.

I am looking at mimecast for a total solution.
