Trying to import PST's to Exchange 2010

2011-02-13 Thread John Shaw-Miller
All,

Thanks in advance for any help, I am trying to import a load of PST's to
Exchange 2010 and obtaining this error

MapiExceptionNetworkError: Unable to make connection to the server.
(hr=0x80004005, ec=2423)

I know 4005 is access denied - but does anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks

John

exchange 2007 sp3 upgrade with rollup2 issues

2011-02-13 Thread Overly, Gregg
The environment
All servers OS 2003 enterprise
4 cas
4 hub
8 mailbox servers in 4 CCR clusters
Two data centers
Ad 2008 native

The environment I needed to upgrade (for a proposed exchange 2010 migration)
was running exchange 2007 sp1 rollup 6.

I upgraded all cas servers and hub servers first with a couple of minor
problems that I was able to solve with the help of this list's archives,
TechNet , and Google.

I started the CCR upgrades yesterday morning around 5 and was done around 11:00
am (I thought).

Yesterday evening our scom server ran an exbpa report and reported a version
mismatch between each ccr node with the passive node reflecting the rollup 2
version number, but the active node not matching.

Alert description: ExBPA found issues. Please look at the Event View link in
the Product Knowledge section of this alert to see all the issues. One of the
issues being: The 'STORE.EXE' version on cluster node mxc62'names changed to
protect the innocent' differs from that on node mxc61'names changed to protect
the innocent' (08.03.0137.000 ). This may cause cluster failover problems.

My guess is that when I updated Node B (passive node) I had applied both sp3
and rollup 2, rebooted, then moved the cluster from node A to node B and rand
the setup /upgradecms, the updated Node A to sp3 , applied rollup2 and
rebooted. The CMS node does not recognize the rollup 2 version.

My guess is that if I follow the steps in How to install update rollups in a
CCR Environment technet article I will be okay, but

If anyone else has seen and dealt with this particular scenario I would be
grateful for any advice.

Gregg

RE: Trying to import PST's to Exchange 2010

2011-02-13 Thread Michael B. Smith
This almost certainly means that the account you are using doesn't have the
proper permissions.

Which cmdlet are you using and what permissions have you assigned the account?

OT: Hosted Live Help?

2011-02-13 Thread mqcarp
Anyone have comparables or a review site that compares hosted live
help applications? LivePerson is ridiculous expensive. We have used
stardevelop.com for years and I like it, but we are moving away from
hosting our services internally and on IIS. Any person experience or
reviews would be helpful
