auto replies not being sent from public folder

2012-01-10 Thread John Cook
Drawing a blank here. I have set up a Public folder to receive invoices, I have
send as permissions and I can set up the auto reply and edit the template but
the replies aren't going out, does anyone have any idea why this might not be
working? E2k7, Olk 2k7 client.

Online Archive in Exchange 2010 requires Enterprise CALs, not Standard,
correct?

The server itself can be Standard, it's the User/Device CALs that matter ...?

Having a disagreement with a licensing rep, think I'm right, want to double
check with folks smarter than I here.

Q. Can a customer purchase certain features like Archiving or Unified Messaging
separately from the Exchange Enterprise CAL?

A. No, these features are only available in the Enterprise CAL or E-CAL Suite.

bad request (invalid hostname)

2012-01-10 Thread Jimmy Tran
Hi All,

I'm setting up a FE exchange 2003 server on w2k3r2. I get to the logon
screen ok on the front end but once I authenticate, I get the Bad
Request (invalid hostname) error in Firefox. In IE, I get webpage
cannot be found, 400 error.

I've check Google which points me to host headers or IIS configuration
but none of it is helping. I'm just testing this internally at the
moment by IP address.

Help anyone?

Thanks,

Jimmy

Do you have a backend server?

Did you look at the IIS request logs?

RE: bad request (invalid hostname)

2012-01-10 Thread Jimmy Tran
I do have a backend server. OWA does work properly on the back end.

As far as IIS request logs, do you mean trace requests? If so, I have
not done that yet because I can't figure out that process yet.
