Huh. I've been using this in Win 2012. Didn't realize it was available in Win 2008 R2. Be aware: if you use this in a DAG situation, you then become responsible for all quorum management issues. When I run the command with the specified account: Add-ADPermission -Identity (Get-ExchangeServer).DistinguishedName -User (Get-User -Identity Migrator | select-object).identity -extendedRight ms-Exch-EPI-Impersonation I get a 'cannot bind argument to parameter 'Identity' because it is null.' Running just (get-exchangeserver).distinguishedName doesn't return anything, which I assume is why its null Running just plain ol' (get-exchangeserver) returns both my mailbox server and my CAS. When I run the command with the specified account: Add-ADPermission -Identity (Get-ExchangeServer).DistinguishedName -User (Get-User -Identity Migrator | select-object).identity -extendedRight ms-Exch-EPI-Impersonation I get a 'cannot bind argument to parameter 'Identity' because it is null.' Running just (get-exchangeserver).distinguishedName doesn't return anything, which I assume is why its null Running just plain ol' (get-exchangeserver) returns both my mailbox server and my CAS.
