changing incoming email address with spaces

2012-07-08 Thread Eldridge, D K,
So as part of our conversion to 2010 we have run into a vendor here that has
been relaying thru our older 2003 server using spaces in the From address. 2010
no like spaces.
Anyone know how to make the following happen on a connector or anywhere else?
No edge servers are being used so address rewrite is out.
They have been looking for this for over two weeks.

Change

I am your vendor and you pay me millions and I cannot find where this from
email address is even though i put it
there@domain.commailto:i...@domain.com to
yes-you-are-our-vendor-but-i-would-drop-you-in-a-heartbeat-if-co...@domain.commailto:yes-you-are-our-vendor-but-i-would-drop-you-in-a-heartbeat-if-co...@domain.com

I don't think there is an answer here but I thought I would have some fun at
their expense.

RE: changing incoming email address with spaces

Honestly, I have never tried this.

But based on a quick read of the relevant documents, it appears to be possible.
You are concerned with the Inbound Address Rewriting Agent.

See:
