In-place upgrade of Windows 2008 with Exchange 2007 SP1 to Windows 2008 ENTERPRISE
Esteemed Gentlemen and Ladies, I have an Exchange 2007 SP1 server on Windows 2008 Standard. part of a 3 site 2007 organization. I need to in place upgrade the 2008 STANDARD to 2008 ENTERPRISE to support CCR between the Exchange servers. While I would prefer to clean install the situation in this instance makes to almost mandatory I do an in place upgrade. Is this possible? I heve read and Googled areound and there SEEMS to be no restrictions to doing this. The only warnings seem to be Windows 2003 to 2008 with Exchange or 2008 to 2008 R2. I see no restrictions in doing what I plan ro do. Any additional suggestions. Should I set the Exchange services to MANUAL during the process? All suggestions are very welcome! Thanks in advance
Exchange AV and Encrypted ZIPs
We block encrypted file attachments on email. Does anyone know of an AV and Filtering product that would allow us to create exceptions to the general encrypted file block. Say, the ability to say the SENDER-NAME-A can send to RECIPIENT-ANME-B and encrypted file. Any suggestions would be appreciated. ~ Ninja Email Security with Cloudmark Spam Engine Gets Image Spam ~ ~ http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Ninja~
Re: Banned list
NAV for Exchange blocks attachments. You enter theextensions to block via registry entries. Not hard to do but I wish they would have done it via the web interface. If you search the Symantec website the details are there. In their knowledge base use the keywords: attachment blocking. If I remember right. Re: *.ost to a *.pst
If you have not deleted the NT account yet run L0phtcrack and get the password, then use Tim's suggestion of opening the OST in Offline mode. - Original Message - From: Chris Seng [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, November 09, 2001 11:03 AM Subject: RE: *.ost to a *.pst Unfortunately he doesn't work for us anymore. -Original Message- From: JENSEN, TIMOTHY C (AIT) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, November 09, 2001 10:59 AM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: *.ost to a *.pst Have the user come up in offline mode and export to a .pst file.
