RE: VIRUS HELL!!!! ...help?
We were able to do that is previous versions of GroupShield - But I believe they removed that option in V4.5 - why I have no idea. Subject: RE: VIRUS HELL ...help? IIRC, you can delete the message rather than quarantining it and sending the alert. I might be wrong, don't have Groupshield any more. RE: VIRUS HELL!!!! ...help?
Someone may have suggested this - If you have access to an NT box run the exchange32 client in the \program files\windows messaging folder - nuke the message(s) there. List Charter and FAQ at: http://www.sunbelt-software.com/exchange_list_charter.htm

You know of course that only one message is sent - no matter how many people it is sent to? (i.e. single instance storage) Of course if our users use PST's all bets are off. -Original Message- From: Jason Juillerat [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, June 13, 2002 5:13 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Need some help please. Currently our CVS server sends mail to each engineer using a distribution group list every time something is update on our CVS server. The mail from CVS is huge. Each engineer keeps the email forever. I would like to create a public folder for CVS and have email sent to the public folder for permanent storage(not a problem) and to the engineers. Here's where the problem is. After 30 days I would like the email from cvs deleted from the individual users inboxes. Is there a way to do this. We are windows 2000 and exchange 2000 shop. RE: some one is using my domain name to send out spam
Our Exchange server is in house and replay protected. However we outsourced our web site and used [EMAIL PROTECTED] as the contact. Someone at the hosting company made an set-up error on ANOTHER outsourced web site and next thing you know @OurDomainName.com was spamming far and wide. f you are using IIS5, you don't need a cert at all. Just force SSL communications. IIS4 is harder. You don't need a public cert, but you will have to create your own. duh question I bet - but does this apply for Exchange 5.5 OWA and W2K OWA? thanks List Charter and FAQ at: http://www.sunbelt-software.com/exchange_list_charter.htm

RE: Welcome message for new users
Save the message as WELCOME.MSG and replace the WELCOME.MSG on each of your client machines (Do a search on for it as I think the location varies between Office versions). Or place it on your workstation image. Or add copying it to the new user's run once section of their login script. List Charter and FAQ at: http://www.sunbelt-software.com/exchange_list_charter.htm
