RE: Attachment blocking Now what!
We have a policy that only Word docs and Excel files and pdf's come thru everything else is blocked. If they need some other attachment we get it for them only if it is work related. DMZ migration
Hey everyone I have a fun project to do and I could really use some expert advise. I have to move our Exchange server from the DMZ to the internal network. I need to change ip addresses but on the exchange side what do I need to do? And this is going to sound dumb but how do I get the clients to look at the new location of the server? Thanks so much. I really hate to ask but I don't what to mess this up! Jonathan List Charter and FAQ at: http://www.sunbelt-software.com/exchange_list_charter.htm

RE: DMZ configuration
Well basically here is the senario. I have a test Exchange2k test box sitting in my DMZ the few clients connecting to it complain of slow performance. It doesn't seem to matter whether the client is outside our coporate network or inside, performance is slow in both instances. Although I have to say that it is somewhat better inside (which would stand to reason). Really what I am trying to determine is how best to fix this performance and also to find out how others are setting up their environment. My understanding from William's post is that the DMZ config is not good. From experience now I have to agree. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. -Original Message- From: missy koslosky [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, September 12, 2001 11:44 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Re: DMZ configuration Performance?
