RE: Exchange 5.5 Event ID 1160
We had those issues on our servers as well, it turned out to be the version of Antigen we were running (6.20.0838). Antigen released an interim release (6.20.0842) in December to address this issue it appears to have resolved the issues we were experiencing. -Original Message- From: Crosby, Tim (Sarcom) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, January 10, 2002 11:55 AM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Exchange 5.5 Event ID 1160 Exch. 5.5, SP4 on W2K Adv. Server, SP2. Server has 4GB of memory. We have had two occasions in the last 2 weeks where our IMS stops and can't be restarted. Checking the event viewer, I see lots of Event ID 1160 which says: Database resource failure error Out of memory occurred in function JTAB_BASE::EcCreateIndex while accessing the database. Q195006 says this can happen on servers with more than 800MB of memory, but it says the problem was fixed in SP3. I checked our version of perfwiz and it is 5.5.2653.23 (SP4). Anyone else seeing this problem? List Charter and FAQ at: http://www.sunbelt-software.com/exchange_list_charter.htm List Charter and FAQ at: http://www.sunbelt-software.com/exchange_list_charter.htm
