Unlike Ray, I find the concensus very specific.  Don't do
it.  Run.  RUN!   SAVE YOURSELF!!

the general concensus on arcserve is don't bother, look elsewhere,
etc.  Backup Exec or UltraBac.

In several test eMails I have sent, where the "Do Not Deliver Before" time
is set, there is a significant delay before the eMail is actually sent (2
to 3 days on average). The times are all set properly on servers and
workstations and all other mail is flowing fine. I was just wondering if
this is a problem with the product or if it is most likely a problem with
our system?

I recommend you look at Trend too.  I have noticed a pattern
with anti-virus software on Exchange while I've been on the list, and that
pattern has been success through all these bad outbreaks with both Antigen
  and Trend.

I'm looking
to go away from Norton on my Exchange Server. I've looked into Mail
Essentials and Antigen. If I'm looking to do content filtering,
extension filtering, basically blocking unwanted content from my site,
which is the best product? Is there someone around that can speak to the
both of these products?

Subject: Strange DSL VPN or Outlook Problem

We have a user who connects to the Internet via ADSL to his ISP.
He then creates a VPN tunnel using Raptor Mobile to connect to our office.
The tunnel is successfully created and he can connect to our network and
synchronize with products like Goldmine.
However Intermittently he can not connect with the Exchange server and open
Outlook.
He can always ping the Exchange server by name and IP address.

He is using Win2000 Pro and Outlook 2000
We use Exchange 5.5 SP3 on NT4 SP6a Server.

If he uses his modem to dial out to the Internet and then Opens the VPN
Tunnel he can always connect with exchange successfully.

Has anyone experienced this.

I am not sure whether the problem lays in the DSL Connection, The VPN tunnel
or Exchange/Outlook.

But any hints or suggestions would be helpful.

Of course there is always the chance that it is user error but as this
person is based in France I can not see exactly what he is doing when it
fails to connect.

Many thanks in advance for any help.
